Why a Cyber Café?
Nowadays, the Internet is as essential as the telephone was to past generations. It's easy to assume that everyone has a computer and Internet access. But the truth is that many people living in the nine isolated towns of the North Quabbin don't (see map). The Teen Cyber Café at YES was created by area teens in 2004 to help bridge this ’digital divide’ to help teens get connected to social, vocational, business, and educational opportunities.
